Anyone who knows me personally would attest that I am a huge Sony fan (that does not mean I hate the other brands like Samsung, Apple, Motorola, HTC, HP, etc., my feelings for Sony just outweigh the others). Why do I love Sony? Drop me message and I can tell you a hundred reasons why. And though Sony might not be the same as the Sony of the 1990s, they are still a behemoth in the electronics industry. And with CES right around the corner, I figured I’d sum up what we’re expecting from Sony’s Mobile division. Read on to find out.

People everywhere are talking about the Grammys and how great it’s going to be and all I can tell them is YAWN! How can you know when the Grammys is going to be but completely forget that one of the biggest electronics trade show in the world, CES, is but 4 days away (3 if you live in some other country)? The Consumer Electronics Show or CES is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, electronics trade show in the world and yet people don’t even know when it’s going to be and what it entails. More than a thousand electronics companies gather together for one week (January 9 – 13, 2012) to showcase their latest innovations and what to expect in the coming year in terms of technology. This year, however, is not all bright and shiny since Microsoft announced that this will be their last keynote, who will do the keynote next year? Rumors are pointing towards Samsung and since CES is hardware focused that would actually be a good move. Sony would also be a good choice since Sony offers one of the vastest offerings in technology. Microsoft is a software giant, they don’t do hardware. Anyway, nerds, geeks, and techies alike are all pretty excited with CES and I really can’t wait for what it will bring and what technological innovations we’ll see. I’m most excited with what new smart phones (dare I say super phones) and tablets we’ll see this year from Samsung, Sony (RIP Sony Ericsson), Microsoft, Motorola, LG, Asus, HP, HTC, etc. If you don’t know me, I’m a die hard fan of Sony so I’m excited with what they’re going to bring this year. I’m betting my money on Nozomi and Nypon on the smartphone sector, and the Aoba would be welcome to join the party though rumors state otherwise. Surprise me Sony, please! Anyway, let’s bring it on guys! Next week is going to be one hell of a week. Nerds all over the world are going to be at their happiest!
